 ▐ In Chaska Town, dreams are thriving. There are two schools on the opposite end of town that support and teach students to go after those dreams that are often deemed impossible. The only thing is that the two schools are far from alike. The school to the east is the private high school known as East Private High, and on the west side is the West Public High. These two didn’t start out with the rivalry that now splits the town in half. It all started in the summer; the summer that the founder of East Private died. This man left all his money to the school, but it wouldn’t be enough. Everyone in town knew that.
▐ Now, Chaska Town isn’t made up of those people that love chasing after their dreams. That is only the younger generation; the older generation is made up of grouches with unfilled dreams. They see the death of the East Private founder as a blessing. To them it means that they can finally get rid of the image of only caring about the arts. The citizens of the town want one of the schools to convert to a regular high school curriculum, and they won’t give up until one does.
▐ Neither East Private nor West Public wants to back away from the arts though, and they won’t without a fight. Thus overnight a rivalry has been sparked. Before it had only been the passive form that is often seen between two schools, but now it has turned deadly. Both schools want to keep themselves from failing, and they will do anything to save their school. And they aren’t above doing anything necessary to stay afloat.
